Service Description

Thursdays, April 17-May 22 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Sgraffito is an Italian term meaning “scratched away”. Discover the timeless art of sgraffito in this 6-week ceramics class. Learn the technique of carving intricate designs into colored clay surfaces to create striking, textured works of art. Whether you prefer hand-building or wheel-throwing, you’ll experiment with various approaches to this surface decoration method, elevating your pottery to the next level! Prior clay experience required. Students have access to the ceramics lab outside of class for the duration of the course Instructor: Benjamin Miller Fee: $100 (Friends Member $90)
